You must pass your CITB (HS&E) test to be eligible for a CSCS card.
CSCS cards are often required to gain entry and to work on the majority of UK construction sites. Use this service to book your CITB (HS&E) touchscreen test at over 300+ approved test centres nationwide. You will need to complete the CITB (HS&E) test first to be eligible to get a CSCS card or to renew your existing CPCS/CSCS card. Once you have a CSCS card, this gives you access to the majority of construction sites throughout the UK.
Information you need to give when making a booking
- Which type of HS&E test you want to take.
- Which test centre you want to take the test at.
- Your full address.
What to do on the day of the test
- Ensure you arrive at the testing venue at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
- Bring along your confirmation booking email or letter for verification purposes.
- Carry a valid form of identification containing both your photograph and signature. Please refer to the comprehensive ID Policy for detailed information.*
- Following the test, it is imperative to securely retain your Score Report, as it contains crucial details relevant to your card application.
If you are under 16:
You will need to take a completed parental consent form (PDF, 120KB) with you to your test, along with an acceptable form of ID. Check the ID Policy for details.
